Why we give back to our community.
When Robert Jesberger took over at Mid Island Collision Centers in 1987, he immediately set out to find ways to improve the communities surrounding the company and Long Island through charitable giving. It’s been said there is not a charity out there that Robert has ever refused a donation to. We assist charities all throughout Rockville Centre, Lakeview, and Malvern New York.
Our largest undertaking, Fill The Bag, happens every Thanksgiving and attracts over 200 volunteers to help feed 12,000 needy family members throughout Long Island over the Holidays.
As a customer of Mid Island Collision Centers, a portion of every repair goes to fund a charity in the area. It is our way of giving back to a community that has given so much to us.

Asking what our coat and toy needs are across the Greater New York area, he said, “Okay, I’ll mail you a check.” No hesitation.
We are floored by Jesberger’s generosity, and while he is very low-key about it, it’s his time to shine as a business owner. He is fiercely devoted to investing back into his community and the Metro New York region. Thanks to his gift of $150,000 today to purchase toys, 3,000 “forgotten angels” will have a special gift waiting for them under the #Christmas Tree and a pledge to provide new coats for all who The Salvation Army Greater New York Division serves, will make the holidays brighter and so much warmer.
